Gaia is also known as the Earth Mother. She is embodiment of the earth’s bounty and the mother of all life. She is the soul of the earth, offering life and nourishment. She offers infinite love. 

A unique and stunning sculpture that tells the story of how Gaia needs our help to preserve earth’s bounty. Human activity has damaged mother earth and she now has a hole in her soul and is crying out to us. If we continue on this destructive path of taking advantage of Gaia’s generosity consequences are dispensed.

Gaia asks us to honour and respect her. To wake up to the truth that each of us play a part in the healing of Gaia’s hole in her soul. 

This sculpture is made from wood, clay, Wensleydale wool locks, and amethyst crystals.

The wood has a natural worn hole that represents the hole in Gaia’s Soul. The wood connects us to plant life, the cycles of the seasons and of the beauty of the tree that shed this. The clay connect us to the earth element. The clay head is hand sculptured and Gaia is crying out to us to listen to hear her. Her eyes closed with tears she sheds. The Wensleydale locks that make her hair and the two feathers in her hair connect us to all life. The amethyst heart she wears and the amethyst in her body came from Mother Earth Gaia.

The soul is the essence of what makes us a unique being. Soul consciousness helps to start with healing the hole in your soul. It can be mended. It takes courage, grit and a willingness to face and tackle the issues that caused the hole.  

The 2 pieces of Amethyst.  Shades of purple and lilac, protective and a stone of spirituality and contentment. It can enhance creativity and passion. A stone to help with stress and anxiety promoting a sense of peace. Particularly work-related stress. It is useful for inner peace & healing of body, mind & soul. It can help with infections, it can help the body’s immune system. It is said to ease inflammation of the skin, stomach, heart, liver, and is good for circulatory system. Amethyst can help with grief and painful experiences as it has calming properties. This stone can deeply cleanse our body and mind, so helping us to think more rationally, reducing our fear and negative emotions. Amethyst is considered a protection stone that will help guard us against future negativity. Amethyst is a general healer and can help boost the immune system.
